One of the most profound sacred events of the 20th century was the scribing of the only modern scripture given in English by Jesus, entitled A Course in Miracles. The Course emphasizes application rather than theory, and experience rather than theology. It specifically states that "a universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary."
